Paul Petruska brings 28 years of distinguished legal experience to every case and client, with a reputation for sharp legal acumen, effective communication, and collaborative leadership. A proud graduate of St. Louis University School of Law (cum laude), Paul began his legal career in insurance defense before rising through the ranks to become a partner at a respected litigation firm and later the Chief Trial Attorney for Zurich North America.
While at Zurich, Paul handled the company’s most complex, high-stakes cases in the Major Case Unit, earning accolades for his precision, strategic thinking, and trial results. He has led major litigation teams across six states, chaired legal committees, and consistently ranked among top evaluators for case resolution.
In 2020, Paul founded Paul Eric Law Office, LLC, answering an urgent need during the COVID-19 crisis. He swiftly helped businesses navigate Paycheck Protection Program loans and compliance strategies, offering real-time legal support when it mattered most. Today, he continues to support entrepreneurs and families through his current role at UB Greensfelder LLP, where he specializes in litigation, estate planning, and eDiscovery.
Paul’s commitment to the profession extends beyond his practice. He’s an ACEDS-certified eDiscovery Specialist, a Leadership Belleville graduate, and a frequent presenter and panelist at national legal and tech-focused conferences. His work has been published in the ABA Journal, and his insights have helped shape best practices in areas like litigation technology, ethics, and pandemic-era legal relief.
Notably, Paul has served as a judge for Arch Grants, supporting innovation and entrepreneurship in the startup ecosystem.
Paul is as dedicated to his community as he is to the courtroom. He volunteers his legal services through Land of Lincoln Pro Bono, mentors students as a mock trial coach, and serves on several boards, including USTA St. Louis and the Flance Early Learning Center. From coaching baseball at St. Clement of Rome to guiding young leaders at the Wyman Center, Paul leads with heart and purpose.
In recognition of his impact, he was honored as one of Missouri Lawyers Weekly’s “Up and Coming Lawyers” in 2009.
